Mother of 5 Helen Acen, 49, was beaten to within an inch of her life by the LRA soldiers. She now ives in constant pain. Despite her hardship she does not want retribution.
"I feel there should be mediation. After all they have failed to arrest Kony and getting hold of him might be a problem because he still has some kind of magic about him....Kony should be convinced to come home so we the Acholi people can go home." Joseph Kony disappeared to the jungle from Helen's village 20 years ago. He has never been seen by the villagers since.
